Itinerary

Day 1

Early in the morning at 7:00 we will drive to Choibalsan city by a domestic bus. We will reach our targeted destination by 19:00. We will stay overnight in a local hotel after dinner.

Day 2

This day we will drive to Buir lake, situated about 340km from the Choibalsan city after breakfast. We will stay in a tourist camp, located on the lakeshore of the biggest lake in the eastern part of the country, which is the beauty of plain. Enjoy your time walking along the lakeshore and swim in the lake.

Day 3

Visit to the Ikh Burkhant Complex, situated in 60km east of the lake. The Complex, which was built about 150 years ago, is one and only Avalokitesvara god made of stone stretches 30m. Then we will visit the 7-8 statues dedicated for anniversaries of the Khalkh river battle victory and the Yalalt or “Victory” museum of Khalk soum. In the museum, you can learn the history of 1430-1440s Mongolia-Russia army and potential of their weapons. You can also visit the Khalkh river battlefield “steppe museum” exhibits fighter aircraft, tanks, cannons, cannonballs, grenades, mess kits used by soldiers, uniforms, hiding places. Drive back to the tourist camp by the lake shore. On this day we will drive about 180km.

Day 4

Drive back to the main city of the eastern region, Choibalsan city and stay overnight in a hotel. We will do a tour around the city and visit to the biggest public park of Mongolia after dinner. 

Day 5

Early in the morning at 7:00 we will drive to Ulaanbaatar city by a domestic bus and arrive at 19:00. (670km by local bus)
